a mag lock idea for ak

can i just cut off the part that hangs down to press on? and then it would require a tool to move it to release the mag since the fingers have no where to press to remove the mag. youd need a tool to jimmy the mag out.

am i making sense or would i need a diagram?

any thoughts on this?

theoretically yes, but the problem is that the guy still might be able to get his finger on it and push it in to make it release.

Also it is a real pain in the butt to get the lever in/out/swap it so you might just want to stick with the morepoopforu maglock or the bullet button ones

Permenat modifications should be avoided if possible.

And try finding the repair parts when you want to fix it.

Works quite well. On the PSL it is impossible to move the stub with fingertips.
