    If this is anything close to Century C93 I had, it's not staked, and counter clockwise to loosen. Used heat to loosen the flash hider, strap wrench to hold the barrel and adjustable wrench to remove. If you have access to a vise, even better

        I have a V93. Lift up the clip and turn counter clockwise.

            Do you see the metal clip attached to the base of flash hider? Now that I remember it (this was 2009), my dad pulled that out, it was just a piece of wiring that grows tighter as you turn it in. He used a pick and some pliers to work that out. After that, we applied heat to the flash hider, put a screw driver through the slots, couple whacks with a hammer and it was loose.
