[IMG][/IMG] PSL with new RPK laminated stock I got from one of my Calguns brothers. I'll refinish the hand guards to match.. eventually. Throws up to the shoulder and fits me great. Now I want a rear adjustable RPK rear sight. Dr Frankenstein needs more parts for his monster.

nice backstrap thats what i want to build at the next one but with a wire stock. What flats do the and use?

Hmmmmm...... looks like your park is alittle uneven.

If Im part of another build I will watch the parkerizing process much closer. If you look in the picture in this thread, youll see the heat treating oil bucket 1.5ft away from the park tank. We have concluded a few guys didnt consider the next guys would want clean solution. The parkerizing tongs were being dipped in the oil then back into the park tank.
When Paul cleaned up he noticed the tongs were dripping with oil.

I'm from sac my self and i plan on building my first AK. Although i don't have any tools and really no experience welding and what not.

When do you guys plan on having a next build here in sac? I'm looking to buy a romy kit probably this week.

Which thickness of rec do you guys prefer and why (1mm or 1.5mm from akbuilder).

You dont really need welding experience, its just spot welding, I have a ton of experience but this is totally different and had someone help me with it anyway.

The next build is still up in the air. Its going to be REALLY damned hot at this shop for the next 4 to 6 months.

1mm is all the dies we had (I said we like I had my own)

I am just a participant though. Check with hawaii five-0, and or backstrap they are the ones that put this parties on.

Yep it was really laid back! It was one of the best times I've had building guns. The group that came out and put on this build was top notch.
