M92 with original barrel

not sure if these are rare in any sort but i wanted to know the value of a very nice condition matching m92 with an original factory barrel, very nice looking hand gaurds. heres a pic, i might want to throw it up here on the marketplace if its worth it..

Virgin kits require a BUNCH more work. More than just the barrel head space, and population.
Example:
Holes need to be drilled in trunnion for rivet(s), Trigger guard is bare so you need to locate, and drill for mag catch rivet, and install, Selector stop plate is NOT milled out for magazine tab, Rear trunnion is missing all UF assembly holes, gas tube may (probably will) require file fitting, Bolt will probably need stoning to clear the ramp on the left of the bullet guide in the front trunnion, plus more.
All that work is done for you on a matching numbers kit.
I normally charge $300 to tutor a virgin build, and realistically that's cheap for the almost 35-40 hours it takes to build one along with use of my shop, and tools for the duration.
There is also something to be said for having matching (original) numbers on the kit as well.
Bought my 2003 matching numbers M92 kit for $1000 (original barrel, and unissued condition)
IMHO that's probably more realistic of a price.

Not saying that the kit won't sell for 1k. It just takes that special buyer to lay out that kind of cash. Those virgin kits really took a hit on the M92.

Wouldn't say I missed them. More like bought mine too early it seems.
There were NO virgin M92 kits available when I bought, and built mine.
Quite possible I am living in the past.

EDIT: the first two kits you posted are the same kit Caiman, and that has been built before then demilled (using solder instead of rivets no less ) I wouldn't pay more than $770 for having to clean up somebody else's build/ demill either.

The last guy you posted wants more than it's worth.

I bought my demilled M92 matching numbers kit for 950 about 8 months ago before all the virgin kits became available. I can see how the virgin kits would bring the price down a bit but IMO a demilled kit would be more valuable to the majority of home builders that dont want to mess with the work needed on a virgin kit.

$100 to populate a barrel and mill the rear trunnion from a virgin kit is still much cheaper than buying a demilled kit. Value of a kit will become meaningless when you don't have the ammo to use it with in the future.

With access to laser engravers, you can mark any virgin kit to look like a demilled kit.
