    Probably not, the damage does not look like it affects the rifling.

      Only if it knocked the muzzle out of round and you would have to have swung that rifle like a bat to do that.

      So other then a cosmetic defect I'd say you are fine.

      Dents and dings on the crown only matter when they also damage the bore.
      You want as consistent a transition from bore to crown as possible. A dent or ding on the outside means nothing to accuracy so long as it did not change the inner diameter of the bore.

        Like stated abpove only of you flattened it ot the dent is deep enough that it makes a bump on the opposite side.

        Take a bright flashlight from the chamber end and insert a bullet into the muzzle end and rotated it while looking at the muzzle off center. If you can see any side that look like more light coming through you barrel is out of round.
