    Your questions are very broad.
    1) Fit and finish - the condition most kits arrive here etc.
    2) psl&fpk are the same. The 64 for is milled and screw in barrel - earlier production than the others. The 72 is an rpk and heavy barrel, bipod either stamped or milled. The 92 is a krink
    3) Build party is a good bet

    Like these:

    The questions are

    1) What are the differences with Romanian, Polish, Bulgaria, Yugoslavian etc.

    2) There are so many different models of AK's confusing to say the least. Please advise and differences (PSL,FPK,M64,M72,M92)

    3) Learned tips and tricks, mentor wanted in the SD area or a build party.

Please remember to be respectful and not attack each other as I am looking for information and I understand there are alot of opinions and certain models. Thanks in advance.

That krink is gona be a harder build, notice how the romy g's front end is all.pressed on the barrel? Well thats gona save u alot of headache and time. The krink cost almost 2x as much, but will be worth twice that when built properly. If u want a daily abuser, u cant go wrong with that romy....if u want a safe queen buy the krink

you should contact the guys from the SD BP and see if they will let you stop by and check things out.
the AKBuilder kits for the first time buyer is a great way to start. the barrels are new US and already populated.
AK-Builder.com makes tools, parts and supplies for rebuilding/repairing AK47 AK74 style rifles

look at the kits with barrel already installed. the romanian AK would be a great starter.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

All I can say bout the SD build party is
You will get all the help you need a more, You will leave with a fully finished rifle test fired and all, And there are a bunch of great people to hang out with, great food, beer. Just plain old good times.
And you can ask any body any AK question you want someone will have an answer.
I can not recommend the SD build party enough. Just a very helpful bunch of people

For your first build your gonna want to go with a stamped build.

                  I would like to disagree.

For a first time builder I would recommend an original barreled and all matching #s kits.

Don't ask me why, I really don't want to go there.

                  Best regards.

                    I'd recommend a 7.62 or even a 5.45 before getting a krink.
