    Look what I made...

    Well, I needed an armorers block for AR work/assembly, but was hesitant to buy one. So I figured I'd make one out of a scrap piece of polycarb I had laying around.

      keep the chemicals off it or you'll have a pile of scrap.
      Block of Delrin would have been better but scrap is free

        There was black/white delrin laying around, but it wasn't scrap. I'll keep my eye on it though

          I don't know about a polycarb lower but an Acrylic one would be cool. Or clear PVC it will stand up to chemicals better.
          MH I don't know what you know about Polycarb but yeah if that stuff comes in contact with anything more nasty then Isopropyl alcohol it's going to melt. Acetone and 111 TCE are the worst on it. That said Oil is usually not an issue.

          Either way good job buddy another tool to add to the box.
