Any suggestions for a good AR gunsmith in Whittier or surrounding areas?

I can recommend AR-15 Barrels. I have had him work on a wide range of firearms (including AR platforms), all have been great, and the best part is you get to see him do the work and go home with your firearm, no waiting 6 weeks!!

You're only looking at a 1.5 hour drive to AR15Barrels. Just make an appointment and make the drive, it's well worth it. Randall has worked on several of my weapons and it was high quality work at very reasonable prices.

I drove 97 miles each way - not as far as ptmn. Randall cut down the barrel on an old Marlin, cut the dovetail and reinstalled the front sight, shortened the mag tube to match and recrowned the barrel. Fixed a cylinder issue on an older S&W Model 19 and addressed a feeding issue on a custom 1970s Commander. All while I waited...took several hours. The ride home wasn't fun but everything was done right and no shipping or long wait.

I drive from the SF Bay, 400 miles to have Randall work on my weapons. His work is so good, I had one of my fellow cops make the same drive to have Randall parkerize his Browning Auto 5 a couple months ago.
