    Girsan BHP clone MC P35 FTF/FTE ?

I just acquired Girsan clone Browning Hi Power MC P35, I keep getting FTF/FTE on 115 gn ammo, but when I shoot 124 gn ammo it seems OK. My first guess is the OEM (17#) recoil spring is too heavy.
    (1) I mainly shoot with 115gn, do I need to install the less power recoil spring ?
    (2) If yes, then the OEM is 17#, what recoil spring do I need 16#, 15# or .... ?
    Thanks You.

    Get a 14, 15 and 16.
Start with the 15 and see how it does.
Then adjust up or down as needed based on how it cycles.
You want the most spring that the gun will function reliably with.
