How to make my VZ58 California compliant via grips

I've done the basic stuff, as it has enough US parts to make it compliant, along with a 16 inch barrel. The problem is the pistol grips. I can't find anyone who makes fin grips, or something like it.
Does anyone know a source, or how to modify the grip to make it compliant? Something easy, I hope, but whatever works.
    Thanks

fingrips.com will make you a custom fin grip if you send them your pistol grip.
That's assuming they don't already have a VZ grip on hand to make fins with...

I make my own fin grips using kydex, a hot air gun (strong hair dryer), and pop rivets because I'm paranoid.

It's not hard at all. I add a square or two of double sided tape to better secure them too, from wiggling.
