It just plain ol works like it should. I shoot a 1911 in 9mm and the extractor was always a pain to remove due to the tension on it. I finally broke down and bought the Dawson tool. Extractor removal is a no-brainer now. I find myself removing and cleaning it and the channel after every range day. Thank me later.
