    Gunsmith to change revolver barrel

I have a S&W Model 29-3 that I want to change the barrel. I have the replacement barrel, but I would like to save the original barrel to either sell or save. Is there a good gunsmith in the Southern California area who can do this? I live in the high desert (Apple Valley)

About 25 some years ago, I had a Smith Model 19 with a 2 1/2" bbl. Sent it back to S&W and had them install a 6" barrel with a patridge front sight that was located in their NOS inventory. Ended up with a with probably the only round butt Model 19 in existence with a 6" bbl. Few years later, I sold that revolver with both barrels and factory invoices.

I can vouch for AR-15 Barrels, he does top-shelf work, and there is no 3-month wait time, he does the job the same day as your appointment!!!!
