BCG group stuck /jammed open

I built an AR10 using all Aero Precision parts except BCG and ambidextrous charging handle, which are Wilson Combat. When I pull the charging handle, the BCG fails to spring back into position. The charging handle does not extend enough to load a cartridge. Anyone have ideas as to why the BCG is jamming in the open position? Or possible fixes short of taking to the gun smith?

Incorrect buffer/buffer tube/spring? Hammer binding up on the BCG? Try it with the trigger group out. Try it without the buffer spring and make sure it retracts the proper amount.

Do you have a AR15 Charging Handle?

AR charging handle. Or
Rifle buffer and spring in a carbine length stock. My guess is the wrong charging handle.
