    My new AK toolbox...

My wife wanted me to make some extra shelves for a kitchen cabinet so I went to Home Depot for some particle board. You can probably guess the rest. They had this wide combo set up on the top shelf on a pallet that had been there for years. I got there as they were knocking the dust off of it and deciding how much they were going to sell it for. I like the idea that you can fit a barreled receiver in the drawer so I bought it. Before 69Mach1 or Mrlonewolf comes along and asks me how I'm going to fit it into my crowded garage I'm throwing some stuff in the trash and moving some to the shed. I've been wanting to put my AK tools all in one place for a while now. I had my HD credit card with me and $299 sounded like a decent price. Since I'm only going to build one more AK I want to be real organized when I do it.

Congratulations on the new box Bob. You won't find any room in it for tools though. Here's what I'm talking about.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Good deal for $299. I seen a sale at sears about a month ago so I grabbed a 6 droor heavy duty craftsman top box for like $129 I think. 3 drawers are full of parts and the other 3 are jammed full of tools. I need a bigger box already lol

I'm pretty sure I'll uncover some more treasure as I keep digging my way in. I had no idea I had so many builds already started and in various stages of completion. Not to mention the parts that I don't remember what they are. I'll send you some pics when I build up a pile! Mach was right, I already ran out of drawers.

Did you post a picture of a complete polish beryl kit? I hate you.
I'm building one in 30 cal using a Romy kit, I actually had to make the rear trunnion myself.
I have 2 complete sets of tools, one at my place and one at the shop. I though my roller chest was a deal at 500$, you got me on that Bob. What did the wife say when you got home with that bad boy?

The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

Hey, I wear the pants in our family! She said I had to get rid of some of what she calls junk or I would lose my marital privileges. I threw away a bunch of stuff and moved a bunch to the shed.
