    .58 Cal Percussion Caps

I have a Remington .58 Cal Zouave Rifle (reproduction), looking for the right percussion Cap for this rifle.
CCI #10's and 11's are way to small.
Anyone know the right cap for this rifle or replacement nipple so I might be able to use today's CCI #10's or 11's.

please email me, as I am new to this site

    Thanks in advance

Probably musket caps. What part of the state are you in? There's a reenactment in the SFV this weekend and you could pick up caps there.

Is the nipple straight or tapered?

Damn, I wish you posted this a day earlier. I would have picked up a couple spent four winged musket caps and sent them to you as inert samples.

#35 primers are for loading 50BMG cartridges. You do not want to use those for any muzzleloader I've ever seen.

was just checking dixies site, I believe my nipple is 5 x 1/16 24 if that's any help. I have a email out to dixie and cci for their assitances too. I'm thinking that the four winged might be what I'm looking for, but at this rate, I'm thinking of buying a replacement so I could use #11 or 10's. of course keeping the orignal nipple.

it's been 26 years since the last time I fired this bad boy, I was only a boy at the time, my uncle took me out, I can remember that day as if it was yesterday, remember the day, not the cap used....lol
