I have a brand new 10/22 and want to change out the barrel but Im having a really hard time getting it off. I have minimal tools for the job. Anyone have some advice?

It should be two allen screws and it will come off. It is a tight fit, do you have any way to apply some heat to the receiver? I used some pennies that I grinded to fit and used a metal rod and hammered it out.Comment

i was able to use the bolt to remove mine. once i took the screws off the barrel wedge i racked the bolt and the pressure of the bolt hitting the barrel pushed it out. if you haven't tried this method id give it a try.
