    Shot the AKs today!

Out in ocotillo wells riding this weekend and we ran a couple hundred rounds through all three guns. All three shot wonderfully, accurate, cycled perfectly and the recoil was less than expected. Thanks again to the AKTEAM!! Now were ready when the zombies attack! LOL My sons are beside themselves with pride. Truthfully I am as well. Can't wait to build the next ones! We are camping with a marine that had never shot an AK before...made his day. Great feeling, to shoot a weapon that you assembled!

This right here is the main reason I build^^^

        Nothing quite like that feeling.
Glad you're having fun with your rifles.

yup there is something about building a AK that gives you pride when your shooting that finished product. even after assembling my AR's i still don't get the same feeling of accomplishment.since going to the build party ive bought my own AK tools and have built 2 more for me one for a friend and on my 4th now. the AKteam created a monster lol

How much did all the tools cost? I did the math looking at over 1k. Still gonna do it eventually

Hope you weren't in the OHV park
Obviously you were in an area that allows shooting. Ocotillo wells is very limited in it's areas available to shot

Build parties have 99% of the tools you need for the price of admission.

                      Congrats on the rifles!

Good job. Welcome to your new addiction. I've built three now and have another kit in the garage. Can't wait till I get to put that one together.

We are on 40 acres of private property, it has a wash running down one side which provides a 5 foot high soft backstop.
