You'll find that once you press the barrel out, that the inside of the trunnion is clearanced where each rivet/screw goes through to give the rivet a place to expand into, without being in the way of the chamber end of the barrel when pressed in. The wall you have to tap for a screw is less than 1/8" thick... Chances are you can grind the screw down to less than 3/16 and probably still have full thread engagement.

Making sure the receiver is clamped down super tight to the trunnion is very important. Make sure that the edges of the receiver are ground/filed down enough to engage the slots in the trunnion but don't hold it from snugging down flush when the screws are tightened. I'd red loctite the piss out of them as well.

I looked again and I have 2 more screws that need a little shave before screwing the receiver to it since they sit just a little higher. These are probably the ones that are 3/16". The other two I shaved are about 5/32". On the other hand, I still have yet to demill the underfolding stock on this and am looking for procedures on how to remove it from the rear trunnion & cut receiver.
