U can remove it by moving out of California. They usually just fall off when u cross the border.

If it's an AR get a small flashlight and point it into the middle of the BB. There's a ring of metal with 2 notches in it. The ring surrounds the inner pin which is about 3/16" in diameter. Take a small jewelers screwdriver and stick the tip into one of the notches and spin it counter-clockwise. It will take about 4 or so turns to unwind it completely.

I do like the suggestions to leave Kali, I'm hoping next spring for me.
