chalkboard receiver

I can't touch my stag lower without getting that chalkboard feel. It drives me crazy! Do most receivers have this kind of finish? Can I do something to give it a more pleasant feel? Help before I decide to just dip the whole thing in lube. Thanks

Do whatever you want to it! Heck, spray paint it hammer finish rustoleum! Personalize it!
