Looks good! Maybe the "crossbar" inside the trigger guard should be black to match the rest of your lock.

Competition is good but if it's popular and you are going to charge around $30 for it expect to get ripped off by someone selling foreign made copies on eBay. That's what happened to the original Solar Tactical design.. You can find a knock-off of the original design on eBay for about $14. Trust me if you haven't actually filed for a Patent it would be easy enough for someone to find that out and move forward which is why, IMO, the target price for any of the BB should be about $15 and American made. At $15 you wouldn't need a patent on it and I guarantees that if it does what it is supposed to without falling apart then that's all people would buy.

Too late, I already sent the pictures to my contacts in China. They'll be on the market in . . .

I like the design - it's clean and low profile; looking forward to seeing the rifle version.

A provisional application would be kept secret (except that it would expire after a year) and if no foreign filings are expected, a non-publication request can be filed for the later non-provisional application. It's hard to say how much the backlog is at the patent office for mechanical technology such as this, but I would expect a delay of at least a year, if not longer (thought I've been surprised from time to time). So, it would be possible to make it a little bit more difficult for infringers and copyists to find.

If past pricing is any indication, I would expect Ryan to price really aggressively and competitively - his flat bending tool is a fraction of the cost of the other one available.

Gavin Newsom is a lying, cheating slickster and will be is the worst mistake California has ever made if he gets now that he has been elected Governor. Hollywood movie producers look to him and his oleaginous persona as a model for the corrupt "bad guy" politician character. This guy is so greasy, he could lubricate an entire arsenal of AR-15s just by breathing on them.

You know out of curiosity can anybody find a magazine lock that has been successfully patented? Heck even one that was filed for? I'd be interested to see the language used in filing something like that.
