Is there Anyone located in Orange county, that can install it for me? I tried and filed down some parts and still doesn't want to work.. Im just frustrated and just want to shoot.

How far are you from Oceanside/ Iron Sights. I'll be doing a similar mod & know their part-time gunsmith is excellent with XDM's. Give 'em a call.

The term "a bunch" is scary.
I had the same issue. WTFV...watch the friggin' video ,
I've got about 1mm of take-up and less than .25mm of over travel on my XD, nice clean break and a huge improvement in my being able to hit the broad side of the barn at 30'.
