    TM-10 Jig selector drill bushing.

So I have finished all my TM15/QD15 lowers and am now moving on to TM10 lowers.

Got it all set up and went to drill the selector hole. Glad I do a check for fit with mill off. The drill guide is too small. I can drill it out or ream it to .377 easy enough, but before I do, is there a reason it is undersized?

I sent a message to TM on their website, but figured I would ask here since I don't want to wait all weekend.

I run a .375 (3/8) drill on mine, if the selector is tight (and it rarely is) I hand ream with the same drill bit.
I have had .375 drill bits that were over sized and would not fit. In that case I found another bit.
If the bushing is smaller than .375 it may be a bad bushing???

The bushing is smaller than .375. I'll just ream out the bushing.Just wanted to make sure it was not supposed to be smaller for some unknown reason.

When I do the selector holes I drill .3748 and then ream to .376

On second thought I might get a smaller spotting drill then I can keep the drill bushing a little smaller though I don't use it to hold the drill bit.

That bushing is pretty hard.... Call Nathan monday and he will get you worked out or you can drill the lower with a smaller bit and use a ream to get to the correct size...

See, I'm glad I asked. I would have have tried to run a reamer through and screwed something up.

Maybe I'll buy a few more 15 lowers and work on those this week instead.

They are sending me a new bushing. I'll have to find someone with a press so I can press the old one out and the new one in.
