Does anyone know the difference between a valmet or galil/golani dust cover and a standard AK cover?
From what I can gather the valmet/galil cover is made of heaver gauge steel so it doesn't flop around but what is different between the way they interact and lockup with the receiver that allows the valmet/galil covers to retain zero on the rear sight?
Does anyone have any experience adapting a galil/valmet cover to an AK receiver, know what is involved, or know if at all possible? Anyone have pictures?
Before Red Jacket went 'hollywood' they offered a saiga galil conversion that was well regarded. Anyone know what they did about the rear sight/dust cover?
