    Help with gas piston

    My ar is short cycling the bolt only opens half way and won't load an other round I have torn the gun apart the piston is an adams arm set-up carbine before I take to a gunsmith does anyone have any ideas or had this problem.

    Is your AA gas setting in the correct position? 12 o'clock for normal, 1 o'clock for suppressed and 3 o'clock for off.

      ^^^^ that and did you make sure your new AA gas block was aligned, did your AR function fine before you did the conversion?

        Idk if you are close to them, but I would give Addax Tactical a visit, they specialize in piston AR's and could tell you EXACTLY whats wrong. Maybe give them a call first.
