    Looking for a video tutorial

I'm wondering if anyone has a lead on a video tutorial/step-by-step on prepping a lower receiver for spray. I'm looking to go FDE with my next build, and was hoping for any 'specific' info regarding the correct technique to avoid over-spray/fitment issues upon assembly. More or less, I'm just looking for the most efficient method to get it right the first time.

And for the record - I've already done some leg work via 'search' and not been able to find what I'm looking for.

    Thanks in advance~

First off what are you spraying? I would look at the manufacturers directions and follow those pretty closely.

The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

What I'm looking for is any tricks of the trade when prepping a lower receiver for paint. By the way - I'll be spraying the lower receiver with ALUMA-HYDE II, don't know if this makes a difference.

      For example:
-What are people using to cover/fill the holes? Are they using cotton, painters tape, or cloth?
-which holes/surfaces do I need to be sure to cover?
-What are people using to prep the receiver - is a standard decreaser enough?
-Are there any ticks for covering up difficult to reach areas?
-In essence - what can I do to be sure that areas needing to remain untouched due to tolerance issues are covered appropriately; while also prepping them effectively so the lines are clean after spray.

These are the types of things that I was hoping to find a video/tutorial of of.

I know its not hard - that not the point. I'd just like to see it done at least once before attempting it on my own gear.

      Thanks

Go to Brownells and look at the videos for their spray finishes.
