sight problems

I just bought a new set of sights for my glock. I went to install them and they where going on tight so i got a file and shaved off a little from the sight. it went in after but it turns out that the outside edges of the where the sights sit on the glock where tighter than the middle part. after i pushed the sight past the beginning edge it got really loose. I put blue lock tight on the Allen screw and tighten it pretty good. will this hold it in place or do i have to buy new ones? they where AmeriGlo Fiber Optic Front and Target Rear Competition Sight Set. got them here http://vanekcustom.com/14.html not super expensive so i could replace i guess. don't want to though. any recommendations on how to fix it?

You could put a piece of shim under the sight .That will tighten it.
