Will not hurt bluing may hurt some wood finishes. It will also creep into screws and may allow them to vibrate loose so try to keep it where you want it. Ie on stuck screws, in the bore.

I put it on salad... use it as a marinade for pork and fish...

Cleans the plastic wad fouling out of shotguns.
          Cleans Black powder residue.
Cleans the powder stain off of stainless steel.

And it smells like a carolina pine forest.

FYI...Kano makes an even BETTER product called Penephite.

"wear gloves" -- probably should not drink it or use it for eye wash either.

Kroil is what we use as a penetrating lube at the shop when we encounter stuck bolts. Best working stuff I've ever used. I read somewhere a comparison of penetrating lubes. Kroil was #2 right behind a home brew mixture of acetone and ATF, which, coincidentally, looks a lot like Kroil.

I've switched to try synthetic stuff, wanted to check its properties of displacing grit, dirt, sand because its not an attractant like oil based products.

I had a problem at Burro Canyon when it was so windy all my guns got a nice wash with sand. My bolt actions were getting sticky and grindy afterwards.

Trying out the Slip 2000 weapons lube and so far its been very smooth, suppose to be non-toxic too.

Buy direct from KanoLabs, and they'll send you a free aerosol can of your choice of their Kroil products. As mentioned, Penephite is great, it's Kroil with graphite in it.

Kroil is excellent, amazing they can get it to stay in the can. Agreed keep off of wood finishes.

Yes, I will second the "buy it from Kano" advise. I own and operate an auto repair shop and Kroil never ceases to amaze me at what it can do. Literally 10 minutes ago I had a bolt that pulled the first two threads out of the hole and of course would not start, one shot of Kroil and it threaded right in. Stuff is great as a penetrant, cutting oil, cleaning solvent, you know I'll bet you could use it as a marinade

Great as a bore cleaner. Mix it 50/50 with Shooter Choice and use it in the barrel.
