    Building a 10/22 pistol?

I'm thinking of building an 80% 10/22 pistol AKA Charger.

Is anyone aware of a bullet button type device for the 10/22?

Also, I've read a lot but I am still unclear, do I have to build it as single shot first, and then rebuild it later?

I will probably have a 6"+ barrel anyway, so I assume I just need to fill a magazine with epoxy so it won't move and insert it? And take lots of photos for proof "just in case"?

I have been looking for a bullet button for an charger style 80% build but have not been able to find one. I figured I would just end up buying an extended bolt release and modifying it or the stock ruger one so you could only drop an mag with a too.

Regarding the single shot situation yes you need to have it set up at the time you build it as a single shot pistol. But then you can drop the single shot mag and toss in a 10 rounder.

I was planning on making a piece of wood to fit into the mag slot vs wasting an mag by filling it up with epoxy. But you could go this route too:
    Single shot mag

Wouldn't a single round magazine make your gun hold two rounds? One in the chamber, one in the mag?

I think you need a zero round. a 10/22 magazine is only $10 anyway.

The upper "legs" get pinched in place between the action and stock when used on a Charger.
You can add a pin hole into each leg and then use the mag catch pin hole in the trigger group (with a longer cross pin or 4/40 screw) to further secure the BB.

          Why? MKIIIs aren't that expensive.
Wish I was rich instead of so damn good looking.

This is correct. For SSE you need a zero shot sled

If I'm told I can't have something, I want it that much more. Even if it's a neutered version of it.
