So I was just wondering if it were possible to find someone in OC that can thread my saiga 545x39 barrel? I need to permanently attach a 2.5 in muzzle break on there too. Can I just do it myself? Any step by step guides for the Saiga 5.45x39? Thanks in advance

I can't remember who at the moment, but I seem to remember someone in your area with a 14x1lh threading die. Why would you need to permanently attach the brake? Is the barrel length less than 16 inches?
*edit* jvpark and he's in LA. I see you already posted in his thread. Did it fall through?Last edited by tujungatoes; 02-07-2012, 9:00 PM.sigpicOriginally posted by Dr. ElkyIf your a man who wears white sunglasses, your probably a douche bagOriginally posted by CSACANNONEERI've been know to cross dress and go the other way at certain events. -
My 16 inch barrel with my telescoping folding stock would be shy of 30 inches by about 2 inches. I dont think his rig will work without the 5.45 tat. I asked but he never got back to me, so I assumed that I cant do it without the tat. So If I can just pay someone like $40 or $50 bucks to do it, that would be greatI can't remember who at the moment, but I seem to remember someone in your area with a 14x1lh threading die. I helped a friend thread his barrel it wasnt too bad. If you cant find anyone to do it, Just buy a die and TAT from dinzag and you can do it at home. You just need to dremel off the shroud over the barrel tip or you can use a heavy duty conduit pipe cutter. Dip the tip in some kroil so itll slide off easy before you start cutting.Comment

I will look into that. I would only need the die and tat? I have a rotary toolWar does not determine who is right - only who is left!!

Yeah you'll need the 5.54 TAT to do it. If your barrel is >16" you do not have to permanently attach your brake. That only needs to be done to meet federal minimum barrel length. Not necessary to meet cali minimum OAL.sigpicOriginally posted by Dr. ElkyIf your a man who wears white sunglasses, your probably a douche bagOriginally posted by CSACANNONEERI've been know to cross dress and go the other way at certain events.Comment
