    80% lower hole size

I am working on assembling everything to start making some 80% AR Lowers. I am doing most of mine as raw aluminum and then I will get them hard anodized.

My question has to do with the hole sizes, especially for the fire control group.

For the trigger and hammer pins, the blueprints that I have seen call for a hole that is .1560 with a tolerance of .0015. But, hard anodizing will add a little material, around .0015 based on my reading.

Do I need to drill the hole out to .157 or .158 to allow for that? I don't want to get it hard anodized then have to remove the anodizing to make the pins fit and I don't want it sloppy.

Or, is that the dimension that allows the anodizing to close up the hole a little?

      5/32 is what I recommend.

Our anodizer's call out is .0008-.0012 on hard coat but don't over think this and open up your holes as from what I understand ID holes don't get as much added as the outside of the receiver.
