Circular tool for cleaning up metal?

I just attended by first build party today -thanks Roccobro and crew - and one of the items on my to-do list was to get the holes in the receiver of my Saiga conversion filled in. So they are welded closed and I filed them somewhat flush to the receiver but they are pretty uneven and dont look great right now. Just before I left I was shown this circular tool that could be used to polish the uneven surface down to smooth.

I dont remember what it is called. Please can someone let me know? I looked at the dremel attachments but I dont think there is an equivalent product.

Thanks guys. I checked online and there are tons of roloc disks. Does anyone have a part number or general type? Looks like there is a dremel adapter too.

Air die grinder would be good with the 1.5" to 2" diameter. On a Dremel you're going to need to go much smaller. like 3/4" or less 80 grit is a good start. 120 and 180 grit for finishing.

This is a roloc that fits a dremel and get the 1-1/2" roloc discs.

Moving to air tools requires you to have a compressor handy.

Wow there are a lot of options for roloc discs and connectors. I found the dremel adapter on Amazon here and a 120 grit disc here

The disc is aluminum oxide 120 grit. From the pictures it looks like the disc just screws into the adapter. You guys think this is good to go? Is this how most folks finish up their Saiga holes? I was using a dremel drum but its very bumpy.

http://www.widgetsupply.com/page/WS/...-sanding/XJA47 They come in different grits.

You would also have to buy the arbor for this disc.

I actually ordered the one from amazon. we'll see how it works on the dremel. Might be a bit heavy for the little dremel motor.

I like that ingersoll electric die grinder too. Wish it was corded though.

All of the angle die grinder I've seen that are corded are more than twice as big as the cordless one.

Yeah that's the PITA thing about it. My only beef with cordless is that all my cordless sh*t always seems to die right in the middle of what I'm doing.

Hmm. I actually had this all along in my Dremel Super Accessory kit. The non-ez-lock kind. Went through about 8 of the pads but got the job done. Not 100% perfect, I'll see how it looks after painting.
