    Armalite pattern 80% AR-10

I'm looking for an armalite pattern 80% lower. The only one I have found is from KT Ordnance at $300 which is more than I want to spend.

Anyone know who else is making an armalite pattern 80% AR-10 lowers.

Yep. Most are DPMS AR-308 lowers which accepts the PMAG magazine and is more common now.

The armalite pattern is the original AR-10 but armalite has really held on to their patents and thus most are not going down that road.

If I didn't already have an armalite pattern rifle I wouldn't bother going down that road.

Yeah. That would have sucked. That .308 pattern is not as uniform as the .223 pattern. If you bought the TM-10 or QD-10 that is a DPMS pattern lower as most are.

I've only seen 0% forgings at 7.62sass I think. If that helps.

                      Hmm

I was always under (the apparently wrong) impression that one could run M14 mags (or modified) M14 mags in them....

One of my motivations in getting/building a .308 AR would be to be able to use my old pre-ban M1A mags. FAL mags would be even better, I have many more of those in storage than M14 mags.

you can run modified M14 mags in an AR10 and there was a .308 AR design that used FAL mags, made by Bushmaster.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

The Rock River Arms use FAL mags, and, from what I understand, only RRA parts will fit their rifles

I hate the armalites. The cartridges just pop out every time you shake the rifle. Or the mags for that matter.
