    Highly Skilled Gunsmith Wanted

    Hi,

I have a Winchester O/U 12gu. with fixed chokes and I am looked to have them altered to accept screw in chokes. If anyone knows someone in Norcal who is able to do this can you please send me a message and let me know or if you are able to please let me know your number and how much you would be asking.

I am currently in the central valley but can travel to the bay area if needed.

There are several "highly skilled gnsmiths" that can do this but none I am aware of in Norcal.

Briley in Texas is one of the better known ones.

Stuart Wright in IL is who I'd send mine to. www.wrightschokes.com

I think you're going to be shipping your barrel set.

Quite a few folks do this service. Closest I know of that gets kudos is R&D in SoCal.

I've had Briley do a few and they came out great. One set was too thin for anyone but Briley. They're also about the most expensive, but so well respected that buyers anywhere have no qualms if you ever go to sell.
