    Stuck bb nut

So I want to get rid of the bb on my lower for a 22 build but that nut somehow got screwed so deep, my red bb tool cant reach It to loosen it before it threads in.. I would just make a tool but cannot get one with proper wall thickness or diameter. I would drill out the threads on the red bb tool/button so it can go deeper but I need it for my other rifles when I drive cross state lines. Any suggestions?

I installed a raddlock, replacing my standard bb. In doing so, I found out just why you don't use Loctite on the bb. I ended up pushing the bb assembly far out of the other side of my rifle, exposing then cutting the shaft with my dremel tool. Kind of a nasty last resort, but it worked well. Good luck!

Its actually not lock tighted in, just tension from the spring. The nut is actually so deep, I cant push the mag release really far. Certainly not enough room for my sausage fingers to cut anything without ruining the lower. Thanks though

Buy a new mag catch, push on your BB until the catch pops out enough to clear the receiver then cut that puppy off and replace with the new one. Was that a run on sentence?

if you have a very small flat blade screwdriver, the kind used for glasses, sometimes you can get that in between the mag release threaded rod and the BB and unscrew it.

22 mag shell casing + dremel

you could use that also, just use a dremel to cut out tabs, they work perfect, How do I know?, that is my bullet button tool ;-)
