Removing a slant nose nut on an AK47

Hi, I need to remove the slant nose nut/slant brake off of my Romanian AK47. How do I do it? What tool do I need? Thanks.

      Twist to the right.

If its a WASR with a tacked on nut/brake, you will have to cut the weld first.

It's reverse threaded on there. If it is stuck even after pushing the detent in try using a strap wrench so that you don't mar the finish. If is a foreign part that you will be replacing and don't care about it getting chewed up try vice grips. Don't forget to apply some kind of penetrant such as liquid wrench or Kroil before using the wrench.
