This Saiga 5.45x39 I was originally going to do in all tactical black, with rails all over the place. But then decided to go for a tantal look instead. Got a Aimsmall muzzle brake, an East German sidefolding stock from AK-builder, a muzzle threading die set from CNC Warrior, and other bits and pieces. I was going to wait for a build party but then turns out I couldnt contain myself. I ended up getting some US made wood from Ironwood designs and below is the result.
I am not sure if the muzzle brake install is done as well as it could be, perhaps more of the sleeve needs to be removed. I'll wait for the IE build party to sort that out. Have to file down the lower hg a bit too. Also need to bolt down the trigger guard, right now its being held in place by the mag release and pistol grip.
