    Which came first?......

The anodizing or the cnc? I just put in my order for my very first ar15 build from Tactical machining, now I'm wondering should I complete the receiver and markings then anodize? Or does it matter? Thanks!

If you anodize then engrave then the engravings will not be anodized. If you are not engraving then it doesn't matter as you can just leave the FCG or paint it.

Some like the unanodized engravings, we used to sell some lowers like that.

Also the egg came first as it evolved into the chicken in the egg by mutation (from what ever it was before) then layed its own egg.

Pure German perfectionism calls for all machining operation to be completed before Anodizing. That's just my opinion.
If you have a 80% and all you need to do is mill the FCG pocket and drill some holes. It only matters to you. Keep in mind this rifle was designed for the military and they go swimming in salt water with their guns os yes a rifle that will see that kind of action should absolutely be anodized after everything is done.

In the real world where you paid for your rifle and will therefore take care of it. Don't sweat it. Get one pre anodized and go.
