    Re-Blueing?

    I've got a Mossberg 930 shotgun which I re-did the sights on.

Put an LPA barrel band over a barrel that needed a bit of sanding on the barrel and some dremeling on the barrel band sight.

What should I use to ensure this doesn't rust?

Incase you're wondering why I went all sand happy on it.

My 3 gun setup updated a bit. 24 in" barrel that is "all the rage" fitted with an LPA Barrel Band front sight. Lpa rear fiber inserts (deciding to stick with plain black ghost ring or the green inserts for a more accurate slug shots)

I of course need to get it aligned a bit more and reblue the barrel/sight.

Let someone else work one your stuff!!!
There was no reason to sand the barrel. Always work on the least expensive part.

Cold blue it and keep it oiled. Other then a reblue on the barrel thats all you can do.
