Best kit out there...AK

Going to build at one of Chiz's build parties, hopefully. What's the best kit out there...something with wood stock etc. I want to go featureless so no vert fore grip, would prefer an AK47 vs. A 74. I've looked at most of the sights but a lot of it is Greek to me...someone help me out? Lol.


What's iu try has a bulg a k74 with bulg barrel. Wish that was a 47.

I might have to go with Ak-builder too they only have a polish underfolder(you could get a fixed stock rear trunnion), and Romy G kits.

Parts kits seem to be drying up pretty fast since the summer, you might want to jump on something pretty quick. Gunbroker has a few right now but they are all way overpriced except for one Hungarian for $309.

After putting lots of rounds down range, I have lost love of the AMD65, and gained love for the 74. Think twice on the 74. Ammo is cheap, and the long day of shooting a smaller caliber really does pay off. Also the classic Romy G is near the top of the list.

Romy Gs are a great first build. There is nothing wrong with them. They are just more abundant right now so, they are cheaper than other kits on the market.
