    SAR show score

I missed out on a deal for a Yugo M92 kit, but scored on three virgin RSB's with 500 meter sights.

I'm really happy to have the correct 500 meter sights for my three Ak-104 and Ak-105 rifles.

    Poke'm with a stick!

Just to torture myself - how much was the M92 kit?
Were there many AK kits for sale at SAR?

A virgin kit less stock assembly for 500....... That's a good deal.

No in fact there were only a few Romanian "G" kits and ZERO AK-74 kits W/O barrels. NO Krink kits and only a few Tantal kits all in all very few AK parts in general. I was shocked at the lack of AK stuff.

I spoke with a Century arms rep and John from APEX. They said the kits of all types have all but dried up. He said to get what you can now because soon there will be no more. He said as far as they know there are no more of the Bulgarian AK-74 kits available anywhere.

              Sad.

A guy had an HK33 front end, with whole barrel, for $90.
Turned my head for something else, and it was gone....

I did find my HK21 parts kits though, so that can come out of my sig line now...

I picked up an MG 42 turret.

and .50 BMG for $1.50 a round (ball ammo). I really really wanted to buy some of the .50 cal armor piercing, incindiary, tracer, heat seaking, intercontinental, ammo, but damn CA laws. Also scored lots of 7.62x51 ammo for .30 cents a round.

They didn't really have heat seeking ammo did they ? LOL . So seen the tracers with orange or red tips . Seen the incindiary with blue tips. Also seen the incindiary ap ammo with silver tips. Man wish all that stuff was legal but couldn't buy it ..

There was tons of stuff I missed out on. I only bought stuff that had good resale value. There is no way to get 5 mint Russian slab mag for $30 bucks each with pouch . Yep I did find another box of crap that I forgot about ill post a pic of the N Korean bayonets that I bought.

Congrats on all of your scores. Like I said, it's not personal, just business.

The trip was awesome, and the show was like Christmas morning times 1000, but I really scored just before, and after going to the show.

Why I just picked up 1500 rounds of x39 last night for $190. Before the show, I scored on a Romy kit and a Polish kit. Too bad we couldn't fit in the machine gun rental in Scottsdale however.
