I'm going to purchase a ghost ring tac set for my 590 that came with a heat shield. The rear sight replacment is easy enough to do.
I need to remove the stock front bead and add a front sight blade.
Looking on the web I see people that swear by J-B weld
for this. Homey don't think so!
I think that I'll be better served with it being silver soldered on.
Can anyone recommend a smith in N.Cal / Easy Bay for this work?
