AK74 Build help

Im about to place my order for a AK74

I see a list of Rivets and Flats on the site. Can some one guide me to what Ill need. Also Im looking for a place to build this in Sacramento. I just went to the Sacramento build party and with the next one up in the air I would like to get started on this one. Anyone have the Jig and gear needed? I just bought a blast cabinet so Im good on that part. Thanks guys

I did finish it, shes smoooooth as butter. Yeah Im hooked! I have a bunch of tools like you but just not the tools needed for building a AK,lol. Heres the pics of the build from the party, and the video.

I have nearly all the AK building tools. What help do you need? I can't tell from your posts.

It's pretty simple. You linked us to the AK74 fixed stock parts kit so for rivets you will get the AK74 fixed stock rivets and the standard center support pin. For the flat you get the AK74 flat http://ak-builder.com/index.php?disp...oduct_id=29845 .

I bought the exact same kit and related flat. Just get the rivet kit that goes with this set and the 1mm center support. If you call Curtis from AKbuilder when you place your order he'll probably throw these in for free. Also useful when placing your order is the solarltactical magazine lock and the Red Star Arms FCG Pin Retaining Plate.

Good to know you got it done and yes Im ready to get out fishing just let me know what days work best for you. By the way here is my finished product from the Sac BP. (kind of a bad cell phone pic)

Sweet looks great! Weekends are good for me. If I know a week in advance I have work it out with the wife so I can save time for the family one of the days.
Thanks guys for the info. My last one I screwed up and ordered the wrong flat and rivets. I just wanted to be sure this time.
