    How do I remove bluing?

    How can I completely remove old bluing so I can redo it? I have an old AK gas tube that needs some love.

    I used this rust/blueing remover from birchwood casey, seemed to work good for me

          Toilet bowl cleaner works pretty damn good, the good kind, the gel that uses acid. It's what I've used in the past.

                          I usually just give the item a quick bath in Muriatic acid. I also use it for a parkerizing pre-bath.
