Muriatic acid (HCL) will remove bluing.

Toilet bowl cleaner works pretty damn good, the good kind, the gel that uses acid. It's what I've used in the past.

Naval jelly from the hardware store, any rust remover will work.

I usually just give the item a quick bath in Muriatic acid. I also use it for a parkerizing pre-bath.
