Tapco flat - first time ?

I have some Tapco flats that came with my Peach state purchases and was thinking about using them for a build. I have the AK-builder die for 1mm, and also the bending jig from Ryan_in_SD.

Are there any issues with using the AK-builder jig with the newer Tapco flat? Any other issues I should be aware of? I have only used AK-builder flats on all 6 of my builds so far.

Other then getting it lined up properly none then I'm aware of.

You would want to use an older bending jig and not the newest AK Builder one. Where are you at? I've got an old angle iron jig that I keep for just such occassions.

I have an old style jig if you bring them to the build party.

Ive bent a tapco with my jig, you gotta pop the front pin out, I used calipers to line up the front/middle of the flat to the front/middle of the top punch.
