    blocking sten magazines

    I have 4 sten mags for my 9mm AR they have 1 the rivet in the side but when I load them up the spring gets stuck on the rivet and will not feed anymore. I have removed the rivets and disassembled them. Now wondering should I have them cut down or put something inside them to block the mag? I will post a picture of the mag when I get to my computer. Any advice would be appreciated
