    Color Fill Question

Does anyone know where I could get professional color filling on my AR in the Sacramento area. I am looking to have the fire / safe done in white and red and the Spiles logo on the mag well. I dont want to use crayons, white out...what something durable that will withstand gun cleainers. Thx

OK, I'm really not trying to sound like a smartazz, but you CAN do this yourself and have it come out looking very professional.

Rudimentary question because I am horrible at painting anything but you just lay the model paint onto the surface and wipe off the excess? What do you use to wipe of the excess and if it is a solvent wouldn't the solvent suck the paint out of the markings?

You use thinner and wipe lightly across the surface. It's actually really simple took me about 20 mins including paint dry time.

The color fill significantly improves accuracy..

Wally world doesn't carry model paint anymore....I had i can dip out the ones I have, really didn't want to. If I don't got white, red or green, I'll head to the hobby shop.

Really is super easy to do yourself. I can say the results are very durable yet can be removed if you really want to. Lower pictured was color filled over 2 years ago and still going strong. Michaels, or some other craft store, will carry the testors model paint you seek.

Method I followed can be found here

Well I found my model paints, it was right on top. I just finished painting the first coat, 2 hours from now I'll apply 2nd coat. I also took pics.
