Thanks to how-to's and instruction threads on this site, I assembled a beautiful DPMS AR with a Sharps lower, and a Yankee Hill free float.

I did everything flawlessly with the exception of putting the end piece on my free float. While squeezing the packet too much threadlocker got on the threads of the end piece, leaving an unwanted ring of threadlocker showing on the business end of my free float. What can I use to clean the threadlocker that is showing through the thread?
Thanks in advance,
M

I will try the acetone/stiff brush thanks a lot
I will be in Carson this weekend and attempt the acetone removal method. Hopefully my other uninformed attempts didn't create any removal of the parkerization on the free float
