    Need some help bringing an old Smith and Wesson back to Life..

    As some of you may or may not know, I recently obtained an older S&W Wheelgun from my friend. C&R Thread has pics which Ill be tossing in here in a moment. The Cylinder is rusted to the frame so it seems, And the Action to get it open looks almost welded shut -But gun was never welded.- Any way I can get it open and fix more of the Rust issues? Theres even rust in the barrel from what I can see.

    Soak it in Kroil for a few weeks before you try to open it.

        You might consider soaking it in molasses and water (50/50) for a week or two. This is a mild chelating treatment used by restorers. wait till the goop gets real funky.
