Blind pin AMD65 muzzle brake Help

Whats the best way to permanantly attach muzzle brake on AMD 65?
Can you just weld it in one spot on the underside?
I have read discussions on silver solder as well.
When you talk about "blind pin and weld" what direction does the pin go?Is it the same as front trunnion barrel pin system? What size hole and pin is used typically. Looking for the cleanest proven method.

Blind pinning and welding is the way to go.

The term "blind" refers to a hole for the pin with no exit. That way you can't punch it out from the other side.
*edit* like this. Through hole, and blind hole.

What you do is drill through the muzzle brake and into(but NOT through) the barrel. Then drive your pin into the hole, and weld it to the brake.

What drill size and pin combo works well?
I suppose TIG weld would be preferred method?

Use a square end mill so the pin has a good shoulder to lock into. I've seen many that come in with a round bottom hole with a square pin and the muzzle device can twist right off.

I use .125 solid pins for this stuff.
